Growing premium estate agency By Design has marked its first expansion overseas, opening two beautiful offices in South Africa.
 
The first is in Midrand, in the heart of Johannesburg, and a second in Knysna, along the world-renown beautiful ‘Garden Route’ on the southern coast.
 
The offices are being launched by Elizabeth McKenzie, voted best agent in the entire continent of Africa at the International Property Awards, who brings a wealth of expertise and experience in the premium market to the new business.
 
Better still, the two offices mark only the beginning of the brands’ expansion in South Africa. Elizabeth McKenzie, Managing Director of By Design South Africa is rapidly scaling her business, recruiting some of the best agents from around the country.

It comes on top of a period of rapid growth for By Design in the UK – so far in 2025 having launched in Bristol, Oxfordshire, North Devon, Sutton Coldfield, Bury St Edmunds and North Lincolnshire, with Rutland and Somerset due to launch in the coming months too.
